DAY EIGHTEEN -- PAWLEYS ISLAND
DAY EIGHTEEN -- PAWLEYS ISLAND
We had a leisurely morning at Rick and Paula's house filled with breakfast, working on the blog, doing laundry, and making a quick grocery run. We spent the afternoon visiting the famous Brookgreen Gardens but had enough after a couple hours because of the heat and humidity. We went to the Litchfield Inn on the beach afterwards for some breeze, shade, cold drinks and snacks. After cleaning up, we borrowed one of Rick and Paula's cars to drive back to the marina to meet our friends Rob and Susan. We showed them the boat, had cocktails in the cockpit (those words must be related somehow), then went for a lovely dinner at Bistro 217. We went back to Rick and Paula's to spend the night.
We were so busy enjoying our friends that we forgot to take pictures. So instead, here is a photo of the main cabin of Craunological II for those of you who haven't had a chance to see her in person:
The galley is to the right with the helm station in front of it, and the dinette is to the left with the small bedroom under the dinette serving as our closet and storage room.
Great having y’all here in PI. The tug is perfect, blessings as you progress north. Rick D.
